Frankenstein Doesn't Wear Earmuffs
Frankenstein Doesn’t Wear Earmuffs!
Written and Illustrated by John Loren
Age range: 4-8
A boy dresses up as Frankenstein for Halloween, just when Frankenstein is ready to go outside and give everyone a scare, he is stopped by his dad who tells him to wear galoshes. The boy a.k.a. Frankenstein has his doubts about wearing something that doesn’t quite fit him, when he gets stopped by his mom to wear a scarf, a parka, and earmuffs, and a fanny pack among other things.
Frankenstein has had enough and takes off trick-or-treating with just the costume and his jack-o-lantern-“earmuffs are no use”
But the weather is bad, his shoes are soggy, and this might just be the year of the Franken-stink.
Maybe earmuffs are not so bad?
